In the afternoon of August 28, 2024, the People’s Committee of Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province, together with Huy Anh Rubber  Co., Ltd., held a meeting to discuss the implementation of the European Union’s anti-deforestation and forest degradation program (EUDR) in communes and towns of Cam Lo district. Also attending were representatives of the People’s Committee of Cam Lo district, representatives of communes and towns with rubber growing areas in the district.

Huy Anh Company presented issues related to the European Union’s anti-deforestation and forest degradation regulations for Vietnamese industries when exporting to the European market, including rubber trees. After the meeting, all levels of departments and branches of Cam Lo district unanimously agreed with the implementation plan of Huy Anh Company and hoped that rubber growers in the district would benefit from the EUDR program.
